Marketing Manager



As a Marketing Manager, you will help to bring the zing to Zing, working to create magical experiences for our customers and to craft a company story that is clear, compelling, and unique. You will build and lead scalable, coordinated marketing efforts to grow our customer base and to improve brand loyalty. As we scale, you will write the marketing playbook for expansions to new markets and into new use cases. More importantly, you will be joining a high-growth, venture-backed startup — led by co-founders who have founded and led multiple successful businesses — and will have the opportunity to play a critical role in writing the Zing story and driving the growth of a new mode of commerce.


Bring the magic to all Zing experiences, always imagining new ways to delight our customers and creating effective delivery strategies to ensure the best ideas come to life.

Design marketing strategies that will grow the customer base for our existing services and ensure that we can scale rapidly.

Own the execution and delivery of marketing campaigns by managing input from other teams, deciding when to engage external help, and tracking every detail of a project to ensure it stays on track.

Develop and refine the Zing brand and Zing story for a variety of external audiences, including customers, local partners, and investors.

Be the face of Zing by developing relationships with schools, hospitals, retailers, sports teams, and other local organizations.

Develop and manage analytics for lead generation, conversion, repeat use, and overall growth.

Understand target audiences, create campaigns for specific groups in the customer lifecycle, and evaluate campaign effectiveness.

Meticulously manage designers to ensure that all marketing materials embody the magic of our brand.


2+ years in a marketing role at a consumer-facing tech company or similarly growth-oriented environment.

MBA or other relevant grad degree is a plus.

Experience on a design team or growth analytics team (or both!)

A leader and a person of action -- you can create the “big-picture” and roll up your sleeves to get things done.

Strong skills in brand building and storytelling, campaign development, and multi-channel marketing.

Obsessive about the customer experience and always looking for ways to improve it.

Clear and direct communicator with the ability to find the right tone with any audience.

Data driven decision-maker who can break down complex problems, take ownership, and drive results.

Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills: you know how to keep a well-prioritized list and communicate priorities to all stakeholders.
