As Zing’s first Product Manager, you will own Zing’s product (digital & physical) roadmap, specification, quality and analysis. We are looking for an experienced, independent, and out-of-the-box thinker to join us and build Zing’s complete offering with our software, hardware and operations teams. You will work directly with our CEO to deliver an amazing customer experience while utilizing cutting edge technology to drive operational efficiency, growth, and scale. At Zing, we try to infuse each customer experience with a bit of magic; we also know that there’s no magic if we haven’t gotten the basics of our product design exactly right. While scaling Zing’s existing tech from one to many locations, from a few vehicle prototypes to a fleet of hundreds of smart, modular, and connected Zing-mobiles, you will work alongside our entire tech, data and operations organizations to be as obsessed with product excellence as the founding team. You will be joining a high-growth, venture-backed startup — led by co-founders who have founded and led multiple successful businesses — and will play a critical role in scaling our business into an entirely new mode of commerce!
Responsibilities
Manage and scale all aspects of Zing’s product offering.
Intimately understand Zing’s customers and represent them and their needs.
Lead the user experience and product design process to create a seamless experience.
Work closely with the engineering teams to deliver product functionality and versions that are of high quality and feature rich.
Own all aspects of product monitoring and analysis, always ready to answer how customers use our products/service and what is and is not working.
Collaborate directly with company founders and executives to create and align product roadmap with company goals.
Qualifications
B.A. / B.Sc. / M.Sc. with a track record of academic excellence
4+ years of professional experience as a product manager of consumer technologically enabled products
Fast learner and fast execution - you can quickly master concepts, disciplines and methods and bring them to life
Flexible team player with great communication skills
Pragmatic - when you hear about a difficult problem you are able to simplify it so that you can easily solve it
Concise - you get stuff done, in a simple, elegant way
Obsessive about the customer experience and always looking for ways to improve it
Experience leading a team - advantage
